• Personal details: Your name, email address, password hash, role selection (student or tutor), profile pictures, and biography.
• Academic details: Subjects taught, subjects of interest, AI roadmaps generated, and files uploaded inside the Study Notes libraries.
• Classroom metadata: Classroom attendance logs, facial detection confidence percentages, and drawing coordinates saved from our collaborative whiteboards.
• Banking details: Tutor account numbers, IFSC codes, bank names, and UPI IDs required to process payout withdrawals.

2. How We Use Your Data

We process your personal information for purposes that are necessary to facilitate high-quality tutoring connections. This includes:

• Operating user account logins, streak counters, and gamification master level metrics.
• Powering our AI Tutor Match engine to pair students with top compatible mentors.
• Enabling real-time voice, attachment, and text transfers inside chat portals.
• Fulfilling legal obligations for paychecks, invoice claims, and financial accounts.

3. Whiteboard & Multimedia Logs

To enable collaborative teaching, whiteboard drawings are stored securely as temporary image files on our servers (`assets/uploads/wb_{room_code}.png`). These files are kept to facilitate real-time polling syncs and are refreshed or archived periodically. Similarly, voice note recordings (`.wav` or `.webm` files) are stored exclusively inside secure local server paths for private conversation playbacks.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosures

GlaceLearn does not sell or lease your personal information to third-party advertisers. We share details solely to facilitate primary services, such as submitting payouts to banks and managing credit card payments via certified processors. Public tutor directory listings and published courses will remain visible to logged-in students to enable course bookings.

5. Information Security

We utilize standard organizational, physical, and technical measures to shield data against unauthorized disclosures, loss, or modifications. All passwords are encrypted securely using BCRYPT algorithms, and our database systems run behind certified firewalls.

6. Your Data Rights

You maintain full control over your personal data. You can log in at any time to edit your profile details, update taught courses, delete published GlaceShorts, or download your personal dashboard history. If you wish to permanently delete your GlaceLearn account, please write to our administrative team.
