Overview & Philosophy
Your privacy is our core priority. At Resume Builder Pro, we believe your personal, career, and educational histories belong exclusively to you. That is why we have engineered our application to operate as an offline-first, private workspace.
We do not collect, harvest, aggregate, or sell any of the content you enter into your resumes. All database storage is local to your device.
Local Data Storage (Hive Database)
All information, metadata, custom settings, templates used, and progress logs are saved using an on-device Hive secure local database. What this means for you:
- No Server Uploads: None of your data is transmitted to an external server or stored in the cloud by default.
- Self-Managed Backups: You can export all your saved resumes as an encrypted JSON backup file through our settings screen and restore it on any device. You maintain full ownership of these backup files.
- Instant Deletion: Deleting a resume in the app instantly and permanently purges it from the device's local database.
Third-Party Integrations
To provide a completely functional builder ecosystem, we integrate with secure industry-standard services:
- Google AdMob: We serve banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads. AdMob may utilize advertising identifiers (e.g., IDFA on iOS, Google Advertising ID on Android) to customize relevant ads. Upgrading to Premium instantly disables all advertising and diagnostic tracking components.
- Razorpay: Premium upgrades are securely handled via Razorpay SDK integrations. All credentials and transactions are executed directly within Razorpay's PCI-DSS compliant gateways. We do not store or witness your payment details.
Device Permissions
The application requires the following to operate successfully:
- Standard Intents: Utilized to share and print PDF documents via system dialogs, requiring no storage access permissions.
- Internet Access: Necessary to complete Razorpay payment requests, render high-quality network template assets, and retrieve advertisements.
